MORE:
NC MomsRising is a grassroots organization of moms and those who have a mom working to build a nation where children, parents, and businesses thrive. We have over 28,000 NC members from every NC county, including your community.
These last few years have been tough on NC’s families, our communities, and our state’s economy. It’s essential that as community members, business leaders, local elected officials, and lawmakers we come together to identify and focus our state’s efforts on investments that will make NC’s economy stronger, our workforce better prepared, and our state more attractive to businesses.
Investing in our children is essential not only to bettering their futures, it is key to our state’s future.
That’s why MomsRising has partnered with The First 2000 Days Campaign to create a giant Chutes & Ladders board highlighting the investments that move NC’s children ahead or set them back—investments in areas such as early learning, education, child care, infant mortality prevention, and health care. We’re partnering with the Partnership for Children of New Hanover County to bring this game to your community!
On Monday, May 6th from 10:30am-12:30pm, we will be playing a life-sized game of Chutes & Ladders at River Park North in Greenville. Local parents, children, child care providers, business leaders, local elected officials, lawmakers, and media are invited to come play the game and learn about the investments that are making a difference in our local communities.
We hope that you can join us! Can you please let us know if you will be able to be part of this fun community effort in support of our children by RSVPing to this event?
