Child Care Referrals
** PLEASE CLICK HERE FOR INFORMATION ON FINDING CHILD CARE DURING COVID-19 **
Choosing a child care provider is one of the hardest decisions a family will make. To help families make the most informed decision for their child, the Martin-Pitt Partnership for Children offers assistance free of charge to help families determine which facilities best suit their needs. In addition, we offer tip sheets on questions families should ask when touring a childcare facility so they have all the information possible to find the best caregiver for their child.
We currently provide facility information for Martin, Pitt, Lenoir, Greene, Carteret and Jones Counties. For your convenience, the Partnership has the following child care information on file for all licensed facilities in Martin and Pitt Counties:
- Star ratings
- Hours of operation
- Available shifts
- Transportation availability
- Faith-based facilities
- Part or full-time care
- After-school care
- Summer programs
The Martin-Pitt Partnership for Children provides referrals — not recommendations. We provide information on child care resources so that parents and caregivers can make their own decisions regarding their child’s care.
Our Regional Parent Referral Counselor is available Monday through Thursday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Friday from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. Referrals can be made over the phone by calling 252.758.8885, or by visiting our office in Greenville.
