MPPFC Announces 2nd Annual Touch A Truck Event Date
The Martin-Pitt Partnership for Children is excited to announce that its 2nd Annual Touch A Truck event has been scheduled for October 28, 2017.
“The Martin-Pitt Partnership for Children focuses on the learning and development of children from birth to age five,” said the Partnership’s Executive Director Lisa Mulligan, “and this event is the perfect way to teach the children in our community about the inner workings of Greenville and Pitt county. From law enforcement and fire/rescue to agriculture and utilities, attendees will be able to climb, touch, ask questions, and talk with the operators of some of the heavy equipment that we see on a daily basis.”
Registration for Touch A Truck is currently open for businesses and organizations interested in displaying a vehicle, truck, or any sort of heavy duty equipment children can interact with. Sponsorship opportunities are also available. Details on registration and sponsorship can be obtained by emailing Partnership Community Outreach Director Amanda Parmelee at aparmelee@mppfc.org or calling 252-758-8885.
