Now Hiring: Parent Educator
Martin-Pitt Partnership for Children, Inc. a non-profit organization serving children birth through five and their families, is seeking a full-time Parents As Teachers Parent Educator to be based in our Martin County office. The position provides in-home personal visits to participating families focusing on parent-child interactions, development-centered parenting, and family well-being. In addition to personal visits, the parent educator provides opportunities for families to connect with one another in Group Connection events, conducts child health and developmental screenings, and offers suggestions to families for needed community resources. A bachelor’s degree in early childhood, human services, or a related field, paid experience working with families of young children, proficiency in written and spoken English and Spanish, and experience working with diverse populations is required. Experience working in home-based service delivery is preferred. The selected candidate must be willing to travel to a 1-week off-site training to obtain a parent educator’s license.
