Wellness at Wildwood
Each April, the Martin-Pitt Partnership for Children hosts Wellness at Wildwood in partnership with the Building Resilience and Courage to Excel (BRACE) coalition at Wildwood Park [3450 Blue Heron Dr, Greenville, NC 27834]. This annual community event is held in recognition of both Week of the Young Child and Child Abuse Prevention Month, bringing families and organizations together around a shared mission: to promote wellness, build resilience, and raise awareness about the prevention of child abuse.
Wellness at Wildwood offers a welcoming, family-friendly environment where community members can connect with local resources, learn about services that support children and families, and engage in meaningful activities focused on health and well-being.
Each year, the event features participation from a wide range of local agencies and organizations dedicated to strengthening our community, including Kinetic Physical Therapy & Wellness, Riverside Recreation, Pitt County Child Collaboration, Trillium Health Resources, Coastal Medical Transport, Safe Kids Pitt County, Pitt County Schools, NC Pre-K, Pitt County Health Department, ECU Health and Maynard Children’s Hospital, Pitt Partners for Health, Food Bank of Central and Eastern NC, ECU Family Therapy Clinic, Local Interagency Coordinating Council (LICC), Our Mission Home Care, Pitt County Coalition on Substance Use, A Moment of Magic at ECU, Carolina Complete Health, AmeriHealth Caritas NC, AMEXCAN, Integrated Family Services, Youth Villages, Easterseals PORT Health, HonorBridge, Children’s Home Society of NC, Contentnea Health, and many more.
Through education, connection, and community collaboration, Wellness at Wildwood continues to be a meaningful opportunity to support families and create a stronger, healthier future for children in Pitt County.
